Welcome to havewheelswilltravel.org

Thank you for visiting havewheelswilltravel.org! As time goes by I will keep adding information on traveling to various locations in a wheelchair to help those who are in my situation and may also be interested in visiting these places. The places reviewed so far are listed on the right side of the page. I had the idea to make this website when we were planning our trip to Iceland and couldn’t find out if the tourist sites were handicap accessible.
My name is Mark. I’m 14 years old and have Cerebral Palsy. I use a wheelchair and a walker when I travel, and a bi-ski when I hit the slopes. I hope you will leave me helpful comments on the website. Have wheels?…..Travel!
Mark,
I am so impressed with your Web site. I learned a lot reading about your travels to MD and Iceland. I’m going to forward your Web site to others who have kids with wheels and who really want to travel. You’ll be an inspiration to them. I’ll also be checking back in periodically to see where your exciting life adventures take you.
Keep on posting and keep on travlin!

Mark,
Your web site is great. We are going to tell many of our friends in Pennsylvania to check it out.
I wish that your Dad and I had this kind of advice when we traveling across country in college.Say hello to your Mom, Dad, Eric, Julie, and Kurt.

Hi Mark,
I enjoyed exploring your website. I liked the details you added about your travels, such as the status on the ice cream. Keep up the good work. We will be following it! Tell your family “hi”.

Hi Mark,
Do you remember visiting us in San Francisco?
Perhaps “FLAT Mark” will remember!
Thanks for making your cool web site on your travels. You have visited some really nice places.
I especially liked your Iceland pictures. Wow! When I fly over Iceland, I look down from the airplane to see those big ice fields that have really cool patterns like a puzzle.
Your wheelchair for the beach is really cool. Those big tires must be great for the beach sand.
best wishes,
Carlos
Hi Mark,
I remember when you first created your site. It was impressive then and today has become a truely living site on the web. Hope you have time to keep it going. It’s a valuable resource. All your pictures are stunning and your comments about accessibility are very clear. … And “Foamhenge” made me laugh!!!! All the best to you, Joe
Hope 9+8=17!
Hi Mark…
Great site – what a perfect way to share your unique traveller information vis a vis your first-hand travel experiences and related travel challenges! That Sand Buggy is pretty cool looking! I look forward to keeping up with your travels!
