Gullfoss is a large waterfall very near Stokkur. There are two viewing areas for the falls – upper and lower. The upper viewing area has good accessibility with a metal plank boardwalk leading to the overlook. The lower viewing area has poor to impossible access for wheelchairs so a close-up view of the falls is not possible.
